St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church
The Choir
Come raise your voice in worship. New singers are always welcome.
The choir at St. Andrew’s exists to do one simple, joyful thing: raise its voice in worship. Music is one of the ways a congregation prays together, carrying words too deep for ordinary speech up toward God.
Practice is at 10:30 a.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month, in the nave. New singers are always welcome, and you do not need to bring anything but a willingness to sing. The parish’s music, and the choir, are led by Candice Chenault, our Musician and Choir Director.
If you have ever sung in the car, in the shower, or under your breath in the back pew, there is room for you here. Come to a practice and lend your voice. You may be surprised what it does for your soul to sing alongside others. To plan a Sunday visit, see our service times.
