May 19th at St. Andrew’s

Everyone, mark your calendar for May 19th for the St. Andrew’s birthday party!

Pentecost Sunday, May 19th, is the celebration of the birth of the church, and St. Andrew’s will celebrate after the May 19th service with birthday cake and ice cream. Please join in on the fun!

As in the past, we will also celebrate with birthday gifts (optional and no wrapping required) which keep St. A’s kitchen, office, and restroom supplies stocked. Paper towels, toilet tissue and copy paper are always needed, along with paper plates (dinner/dessert), bowls, cups (6/9 oz.), coffee cups and napkins. Other items on the birthday wish list include legal size envelopes, garbage bags (13 gallon) and large black bags, dishwashing liquid, Lysol spray, spray cleaners w/bleach or disinfectant, liquid hand soap, and coffee, regular and decaf. This list is also on the parish hall bulletin board.

Again, come worship and celebrate with us!

Prayer Group

We will gladly pray for those in need of special prayers for any reason. Anyone can request prayers for themselves or others.

JOIN US! We welcome new members to the group and they do not habe to be a member of any church. We do much of our communication by phone, text or email so folks who cannot meet face to face because of poor health, living away or attending other churches can participate.

Contact Susan Vaughn at 205 552-8961 to ask for prayers or to join the group.
